Reflectors

Learning to use reflectors was fun. I still don’t actually know what I’m doing, but I know what they do. We stopped Jake on campus and he was nice enough to model for us. We tried bending the reflectors to soften the light on the first image. We put him in a shady place so we could lighten it with the reflectors. For the second image, we picked a place with funny shadows, like the leaves from the tree. We diffused the light to hide the weird shadows. Then we did a before and after, also in a shady place to show the silver reflection. You can see the light reflecting on the right side of the after photo.
