Sharpening is a tool used in Photoshop to bring out the features of the subject of the photo, or to enhance a certain part of it. To do so non-destructively takes a little more work but is well worth it if you change your mind about your edits the next day. This is a great tool for portraits and images that turned out blurrier than expected. I was able to create a demonstration video and .pdf tutorial, which will explain how to sharpen your images non-destructively. I used two photos I took on 9/28/15 by the Spori building at BYUI. I used http://www.graphics.com/article-old/sharpening-part-image-photoshop for help in learning this skill.
